Staring into the mirror yet again, i noticed that my front top left tooth (got that) is chipped, slightly. In two places. Each chip is the size of a standard grain of table salt and they are about 1/4 of a millimeter apart. Not so noticeable; not, say, as glaringly obvious as the rest of my frickin' head. But still, they bothered me. I stared at them, tilting my head this way and that.

And then i reached for my nail file.
